Love Goggles

scratchesonapage:

I wish my life was filmed in black and white
so I could see the clear cut lines
between the times when you are avoiding me
and the days when I should have gotten more sleep.

I wish my heart was a little less soft
so I could tell the difference between
the kiss on the cheek you gave as a demonstration
and a proposal that we should kiss more often.

Everything you used to do was an implication.
Now I’m just heartbroken and
wondering who you really are.

how do you know when something is worth it or not? ha fuuuuuuuuuuuuck it.

books.

I love reading :) I wish I had more time to read for pleasure during the school year, but it is impossible. Right now I am almost finished with The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. So far it is an amazing and inspiring book. It is about a boy trying to reach his treasure (or accomplish his dream) and his journey to get there.

The book is very prevalent in the power of love. It describes that anything is possible through love. Even in the hardest times, love and your strength will carry you through.

Last night while reading this wonderful book, I got a call from my roommate. She was very upset and crying and telling me how unhappy she is. She said she is afraid she will never be happy. I tried to explain to her that you have to be positive and try to find love in every situation, as hard as that may be. Fear only makes any situation worse, but how do you get someone to understand what you mean? Anyway, I tried to help her and this book aided me in that. Hopefully it can brighten your day as well!
